Something and nothing
Some (3) of these photos were taken at the Roche Abbey in South Yorkshire. It was a lovely sunny day and I only wanted to catch a little bit of that rare low winter sun light and photograph some snowdrops. I didn’t take any pics of the flowers, not on that roll of film which I simply wanted to finish to finally discover what I actually had captured on it. Funny how finishing 36 exposures becomes an infinite task in the age of digital when you irresponsibly shoot hundreds of pictures, with no remorse whatsoever. I have been recently playing with multiple exposure and these photographs are the testimony of that play – kind of. I love that game with matter when you only can anticipate what may happen and then have to wait for the final result and, once the film is processed, experience the elation or disappointment. And want some more!
